Membership

In harmony with our mission statement we invite into membership and equip for ministry all who respond in faith. We are open to all whom God has awakened and support them with the healing and equipping power of the Holy Spirit in His church. The biblical requirements of repentance, faith and baptism make membership in the Free Methodist Church as nearly as possible synonymous with entering into the body of Christ. We recognize that in some settings the terms members and membership are unhelpful and can create confusion. In such situations churches, with approval by the conference superintendent, are free to use alternate terms.
